We own our inventory outright rather than carrying it on consignment or through a wholesaler, which is why the same reference lands under what it runs elsewhere.

Metals tested, stones graded, movements and hallmarks checked in house. Nothing goes up until it has been through that.

Engagement rings, a redesign of an heirloom, or a one off you have had in your head for years. You see the finished piece as a render and hold it as a wax before any gold is cut, and the price is agreed before that.

Hi, I'm Maxwell.
I own San Diego Jewelry Buyers on 907 Sixth Ave, the family business that has been on this corner since 2006. That is 20 years in the same spot and more than a thousand five star reviews, which is the part I care about most. I sell, I buy, I write collateral loans so people can keep the piece instead of parting with it, and I take in custom work, repairs and appraisals.
Most people who walk in are selling something they never planned to sell. An inheritance, a divorce, a move, a chain that sat in a drawer for fifteen years. You should not have to become an expert overnight to avoid getting taken advantage of, which is the whole reason I write the guides and film what comes through the door.
Everything gets tested in front of you. That part is not negotiable.

Borrow against the piece instead of selling it. Your item goes into a private insured safe assigned to your loan, never a shared vault, and you keep the right to buy it back.

Booking is not required and free reserved parking is right out front. Most people are in and out in about fifteen minutes.

In a private office, not out on the sales floor. XRF analyzer, loupe and certified scales, all in front of you. Your items never leave your sight.

You get your options
Sell it, borrow against it and keep it, or have it repaired. If you say no you walk out with everything you brought in, and it costs you nothing.
